Due to that Steam did not create the desktop shortcut. So, I downloaded it via Steam but forgot to check the desktop shortcut option. For example, recently, I wanted to play the Witcher 3 Wild Hunt game.
If you don’t select the option, it will not create the shortcut. When you download and install a game, Steam gives you the option to automatically create desktop and start menu shortcuts.
